Cam Caddie D-Flashner Dual Shoe Adapter

The D-Flashner is an extremely versatile accessory. It is used in the Flashner Kits to secure the Flashner Kits to the cameras flash shoe. The D-Flashner is also needed to mount the DV60 and DV60A LED lights to the Flashner Kits and the Scorpion 10" Accessory Wing.

The Accessory Shoe is used in the Scorpion Lockout Kit. Mounted upside down and combined with the D-Flashner it forms 1 part of the Lockout Kit. When using heavier camera configurations we recommend using the Scorpion Lockout Kit to eliminate the natural dampening effect of the Scorpion.

The D-Flashner can be used with the Flashner Kits to attach all of the necessary accessories needed to shoot video with a DSLR Camera. Combine different size Flashner kits together to create endless configurations. In this configuration we have used (2) D-Flashners (1) 1/4-20 Flashner (1) 6" Flashtrak and (2) 4" Flashtrak Kits to mount: 2 LED Lights, a field recorder and an external monitor.

CAGE CONFIGURATION: In this configuration the 4" Flashtrak has been used to mount the external monitor to the Scorpion EX Pro Kit in the DSLR Cage Configuration. This setup keeps the camera rig compact and allows the operator to instantly switch from handheld to a tripod. Excellent for run & gun shooting because the operator can keep their hand directly on the camera and still operate the camera controls.

In this setup the Flashner Kit has been combined with a Mini Ball Head and the 10" Scorpion Wing. The articulating ball head allows you to position the wing in a vertical position so that you can mount accessories in a completely different fashion. This is a great way to mount audio devices so that you can easily monitor their levels.
